To keep it short and sweet, I packed it in.
Adding an hour of training every day on top of college, work and cycling was proving too difficult to manage. I had to fit all of the above into cooking my meals also, and trying to get enough calories to sustain everything was maths I had no time to do.
I'm going to leave the blog up as a record. It's by no means complete, and the plan I had to use it as a training blog just vanished too.
Hopefully my common readers enjoyed visiting my posts and seeing my pictures as much as I enjoyed writing about it all, but I'm afraid this was one challenge I had to quit, for now.
So to everybody reading this, thanks, and maybe see you in the journeys to come.

Day 62...and 63 and 64, 65, 66 and 67!!!
I've been busy lately, and with work and college things piling up blog posts are going to be a bit scantly unless the session was particularly great!
So without further ado, here's a condensed rundown of the past week:
Day 62
Youth club session as usual. What separated it was the scaffolding that has been installed!!! One and a half hours on this was pretty fun. No injuries was a bonus!
Day 63
Friday; Sprintsday. After last weeks horrendous experience, Joe and I were more clue'd up. Did a bit of a warm up [half cold, half because it's sensible] then proceeded with 6x 20s sprints, and 10s rest in-between.
Day 64
Honestly, today I just couldn't muster the enthusiasm for any training. I did, however, go shopping for more paleo foodz for this week, and came out of the store with a mass amounts of quality meat!
With my ladygirl, I cooked Shepards Pie, with enough leftover for lunch tomorrow. Awesome
Day 65
Group of us went to London Excel to visit the outdoors show which was held. To my joy, the first thing we experienced were a bunch of slackliners!!! After having a little go [a much better one than my last experience], Joe and I hit the rock climbing walls.
The new, belayer-less rope lowering you down that they had installed is not initially comfortable, but if you ever get on one, trust it.
Day 66
Todays session was the club at Twickenham Academy. Like last week, I set out a simple couple of vault boxes and went about doing speeds and monkeys with the one guy that showed up. Aside from that, some handspring practice happened [got it down fairly solid] and packed up after.
Day 67
See this post for what I did today. Yeah buddy.
AND THAT'S THAT BABY!
Till next time,

Day 61 - Feeling fine.
Cycling for travel as usual, hit Orange Walls with Chicken and Lewis for an easy bit of training!
Content
As is traditional with Orange Walls, mad precisions were done. Mad as in high total!
Not quite the Ab-Busta usual but a nice amount.
I got the usual Kong-Cat in one go, as well as cat-180 back to the original wall, but a new KC was opened to my eyes Thanks Lewis]!
We moved to Graveyard Park for some general trenns, where Lewis was scouted by the local drunk brigade to do flips. So many videos were taken, I don't even.
Anyway, I moved here a tiny bit but held these two wonderous feeling flag positions [pictured below]
Location
Orange Walls, Graveyard Park
Experience
A nice session but my legs are still in pain. Tomorrows cycle and club session won't help that but on Friday I'm going to maximise the upper body training in my room, for sure.
Also, having these two drunk guys direct a phone video of Lewis tricking was a welcomed bit of hilarity!
Thanks Chicken:
Signing off,

Day 60 - Some Chickens Fly
Met up with a friend I've not seen for a long while today; known as Chicken!
We hit Waitrose Gardens for a bit of trennin and catching up
Content
A load of unstructured, but beautiful cat leap, cat 180 and precision training, with some strides and tic tacs added in for good measure.
Lewis joined us for a bit before I had to shoot off.
Location
Waitrose Gardens
Experience
It was really sweet meeting up with Chicken after such a long while. We maybe spoke more than we trained, but when we should've been breathing when moving, we spoke still!
I hope he can join us outdoors more often, and it'd be great to have the whole local crew in one massive [as it can get] jam in Twickers one day!
And as a bonus, I had this, BEAUTIFUL stir fry for dinner.

Day 59 - Back in the gym
Today I started the club I used to do regularly back at my old school. Sports department have hired me for a block of sessions, and this was the first!! Unfortunately, 2 students arrived. But hey, it's a start.
Content
I set out a small amount of obstacles for basic training. Literally two boxes.
We did 2 sets of continuous monkey and speed vaults, then moved onto handsprings, and finally did our own thing. I remembered wall-spin technique, while the others played with the box setups, doing strides, flips etc.
Location
Twickenham Academy
Experience
Initially I felt tired, but a warm up, stretch and the vaults got me energetic again. Twas a nice, simple session, yet an effective bit of work for the hour and a bit I was there.

Day 58
The last post in a catch up session; man I really gotta stay on top of this if I wanna do it daily!
Today was a pretty sweet day; that's in terms of physical doings and food!
Content
So today I met with Lewis in Whitton. I gathered he wasn't feeling up to much so he spoke to me while I did some drilling. As is ever the case with nice, dry days in Whitton, I got some rail pre practice down [which was killer on my sprinted hamstrings] and some repetition at the Walls.
After what was essentially an extended warm up, we hit Murray.
I was a bit disappointed in myself, as I couldn't muster up the courage to do a frontflip or handspring over the railing there, however, I was proud to see Lewis excel in both areas!
I did smash out the pull-ups, doing about 30/40, and got some flag practice in!
Location
Whitton & Murray Park
Experience
It was a tad fresh out today, and I was reeling a bit from the sprints. I feel ready to tackle this new week though. And I have knowledge of what to drill at Thursdays gym session too! The plan is to bust out the fronties and handsprings and get them in the park on Friday.
Some pics!
Cheers for reading buds,

Day 57 - Yeah Sprints Yeah!
Anyone who is following my blog regularly might be seeing that Parkour training isn't featuring as heavily as 'Physical activity everyday'. I think the latter is important, for general health, and personally it's featuring big for a few reasons:
Not wanting to get bored of the same locations, or movements
Time constraints
Experimentation
Content
Todays session features the third reason: Experimentation.
I've been wanting to do sprints for a while. Finally got round to doing Tabata Sprints with Joe today.
Man are they killer.
6x 20 sec sprints [roughly]. 10 sec rest in between each.
They're quick, simple, and hella effective. Alongside my forearm/upper body workout, lower body leg killa and Ab-Bustas at Orange Walls; these are going to become regular!
Location
Murray Park
Experience
I hate the feeling of wanting to call it quits and give it up, but having Joe train with me pushed me to finish all of the sprints. He's getting back into running and the fun that comes with that so regularity probably won't be difficult to achieve here!
Still. They're nasty.
Yeah buddy

Day 56 - Needed rest
College started wednesday, and although the days aren't maximum in number, the hours are. College combined with yesterday made me decide today was for sure a rest day.
All I really got up to was travel to and from college, as well as cycling ~20minutes to a friends house.
Took it easy, ate plenty of food. Specifically:

Day 55 - Nearly Crashing
So adjusting to where I have to get calories from on Paleo showed it's colours today. Here's why:
Content
Legs were still very sore from yesterday. In the gym at college, I did some bench pressing and a bit of squatting.
Specifically, I completed a couple of sets of 60KG negatives, and a 75KG [just over bodyweight] press. As well as a set of squats.
Had to cycle into Ham for a staff meeting then cycle home afterwards. This was where I nearly collapsed.
The strain of the day before plus cycling a lot, in headwind everywhere, meant that when I got to my door [which I was ridiculously thankful for] I had to sit and recover for a few minutes.
Dinner never tasted better.
Location
A bit at college, cycling around too.
Experience
Well, I learnt to eat enough to sustain my activity that's for sure! From now on, I'll be making sure my fat intake is higher, and if necessary, supplemented by fruit carbs.
Yeah. It sucked.

Day 54
Continuing the series of "Working out at home because Winter is a mean old bully", I did a lower-body focused workout tonight.
Content
10 pullups
---This circuit x 2
Jump squats- 1 sets 10 rep with barbell [4KG]
[Move down into a full squat position and then explode off the floor, jumping as high as possible. Upon landing, move back down into the squat position, stopping halfway down to pause for a count of 5 seconds before finishing the squat and rebounding off the ground again.]
Hanging leg raise- 1 sets 10 rep
[Legs up straight to 90 degree angle]
Pistols- 1 set 5 rep each leg
Ski sit- 1 x 30 sec
10 pullups
Location
At Home
Experience
I'm quite liking conditioning at home. It fills in the time, and there never seems to be an end to the exercises which keeps things interesting. I quite like what I did today, even though it got my legs into pain, so when I wanna do this circuit again and have more time, I'll increase the sets and do it.
There's a possibility of some sprints tonight with my ladygirl so that's kinda extra content.
-The most versatile piece of kit to work out with you need to buy and could ever own.

Day 53 - Defying The Earths Pull
Did a back blasting amount of upper body today. Definite rest for the next few days in that area.
Content
A round 2.7 mile cycle as I had to buy some ingredients. After that, 6 sets of 10 pull-ups [20x 4KG weighted]. 30 Pseudo-Planche Push Ups.
Location
Home, just after and before the rain!!!
Experience
I always feel amazingly ready to go on the first set of 10 pull ups, it's when I have to do my 3rd set that I hate the world. You know that point where you can't pull up above the bar but you wish nothing more than to do it? I hate that physical impossibility. I will figure out why this happens!!!!
Other than that, I'm sitting, typing with an aching back and am straight to bed after this post.
No pictures from today. Nothing really interesting apart from the great tasting meals I'm making now!!!

Day 52 - We're rippin' it now
New Years relax over, time to hit Whitton with a good friend and a fresh mind.
I met my friend Dan outside Tesco and got him started with rail balance/precisions. He took to it awesomely, with barely any previous experience! *Pride*
Content
About 20 minutes of rail precisions at the Tesco spot, with some vaults and a tiny bit of flag practice in for good measure.
30 odd minutes saw us at Whitton Walls, doing jumps into cat, wall runs, climb ups and some shimmying to all build up upper body strength.
Finished up with 5ish minutes at the rail spot again.
A few pull ups here and there at home too
Location
Whitton
Experience
Was a really great session with Dan, awesome to see him moving about and trying things. His muscles were sore from the new movements! I felt pretty tidy on the walls and rails. Stuck a lot of stuff [thanks to it being a mega dry day]
Another generally good sesh.
Some action shots of Dan

Day 51
Happy New Year all! I hope that any resolutions you've made you hold onto till the end. The rewards are worth it.
One that I've made is to go Paleo for a month [google that]. So I'll be investing time and money otherwise spent on junk into making my eats goodlier from now on!
Todays Content
Yeah not a lot. I was tired from the NYE party. All I managed to do was 2.2 miles of cycling [half of that was fairly weighted with meat, veg and nuts.] and 20 pull-ups. Beh, it's new years.
Location
Home & to Asda
Experience
Was very tired today and mostly just got started with Paleo. I made a corny little book packed with food I can eat and recipes I can make to help me along. Aside from preparing my self fully, I did squat.
By the time college starts again, I should be back to normal, non cheating exercise

Day 50
So Jake didn't turn up. Nice one bro!! :-)
Regardless, I did a lot of activity today
Content
Not very Parkour specific, but I did 60 Pull Ups over half an hour for some upper body conditioning, then later in the day went Ice skating with some friends. I suppose the cardio and balance skills are transferable to Parkour! The 5 mile cycle there and back sure contributed.
Location
At home, At Hampton Court Palace
My Experience
I blitzed the pull ups today, so occasional sets of 10 might have to be a more regular thing. I've been doing exercises for every hour of gaming lately [darned christmas and its holiday!]
Ice skating is always fun, and I improve each time. I started to learn cross-overs today which was a nice challenge; and to be improved upon next time!
