I've been busy lately, and with work and college things piling up blog posts are going to be a bit scantly unless the session was particularly great!
So without further ado, here's a condensed rundown of the past week:
Day 62
Youth club session as usual. What separated it was the scaffolding that has been installed!!! One and a half hours on this was pretty fun. No injuries was a bonus!
Day 63
Friday; Sprintsday. After last weeks horrendous experience, Joe and I were more clue'd up. Did a bit of a warm up [half cold, half because it's sensible] then proceeded with 6x 20s sprints, and 10s rest in-between.
Day 64
Honestly, today I just couldn't muster the enthusiasm for any training. I did, however, go shopping for more paleo foodz for this week, and came out of the store with a mass amounts of quality meat!
With my ladygirl, I cooked Shepards Pie, with enough leftover for lunch tomorrow. Awesome
Day 65
Group of us went to London Excel to visit the outdoors show which was held. To my joy, the first thing we experienced were a bunch of slackliners!!! After having a little go [a much better one than my last experience], Joe and I hit the rock climbing walls.
The new, belayer-less rope lowering you down that they had installed is not initially comfortable, but if you ever get on one, trust it.
Day 66
Todays session was the club at Twickenham Academy. Like last week, I set out a simple couple of vault boxes and went about doing speeds and monkeys with the one guy that showed up. Aside from that, some handspring practice happened [got it down fairly solid] and packed up after.
Day 67
See this post for what I did today. Yeah buddy.
AND THAT'S THAT BABY!
Till next time,
-Frinkydink
